If any of you have dealt with this issue, how did you get a medical evaluation without totally freaking out your parent? I am seeing changes in behaviors and memory loss and we are trying to gracefully get my Mom to allow us to help and possibly change her living arrangement. This is a VERY independent stubborn lady that is easily offended if she thinks your concern is doubting her competency. Any suggestions will be a help. Mom--96, me a tired 67.
