I haven't seen it yet but I don't like the idea of monkeys having facial expressions. It's just too creepy.

Re: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

My husband and I saw this movie Sunday and we both enjoyed it. It was his turn to pick the movie and I went in thinking, I was such a good wife for sitting through yet another action movie. But I really, really enjoyed it. It's great science fiction and 10 minutes into it, you forget the whole "talking ape" thing. You focus on the characters and the action. Very well done.

I agree with Shorty 100%. The action was good, but the movie also had a really excellent take on human and enlightened, enhanced ape thoughts on cohabitating and how our thoughts are similar in love, anger, hurt, life situations.

I really liked the movie. The graphics and special effects are excellent.

Re: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I have mixed reviews...all and all, it was a good movie. I thought it lagged a little here & there, and I thought it had a slow start. However, Anthony (hubby) did not agree with me, he enjoyed the movie with no issues.{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I suggest those who want to go see it, go, it's not a waste of your time nor money...it's a day/night out with your honey.

It's very good . . . Caesar and his human counterpart.
