LOL.  He is not a "slave to fashion."  I remember that phrase from an old radio show on PBS.  It was called "Car Talk."  Two brothers gave advice (often with tongue-in-cheek and a lot of good-natured humor) about cars and car repairs.  At the end of the show they gave credit to their crew, with more humor sprinkled in.  Their producer was "Not a Slave to Fashion."

@maximillian    I used to listen to that show on Saturdays about noon.  They were very funny.
