If you want diamonds, hit the fine jewelry stores..........never know who's single and owns one! You just have to figure out what type of life you want, and set out to get it, one way or another. Place yourself in that environment, even if it means being a 'browser'. You'd be surprised how many receptionists/secretaries/etc. met their ideal men (maybe architects, whatever) by placing themselves in the appropriate office buildings. I've seen it happen hundreds of times...........just my observations.

Oh, I have another idea........If you love expensive cars, hit all of the auto shows........there are lots of single men wandering around there, I've observed. The married ones are usually with their wives, because the wives don't want their husbands wandering around, talking to all of the models sitting in the expensive cars..........(lol..........)
The point is that you don't have to 'pretend'. Just make a list of what you truly eventually want, how you truly eventually wish to live with a future husband, and try to place yourself in that environment. It's a win-win for both, IMO.

I don't know what planet you are on. I have been a gazillion car shows and it is truly a male-oriented acivity. True motor heads are there to GET AWAY from the ball & chain!

Years ago, (maybe ten or so), I was roaming around several individual local model homes subdivisions, and chatted with three different home developers/actual owners, riding around in their pick-up trucks...........and at the time, I thought, 'Gee, what a place for a single gal to meet an ambitious man!' All three weren't wearing wedding rings, BTW. Asking me this and that, too..........

Well, a girl's 'gotta' try! Just a matter of being where a lot of men are. Out of, say, 100 men, (hopefully 40-50 are single), just maybe there will be a 'match'. Better than bar hopping, IMO.

I was wondering the same thing.
Because a man does not wear a wedding ring does not mean he is eligible.

Romary, you crack me up. I love Home Depot and when I am in it - I don't want to be bothered (lol). Usually I'm on a mission to find something.

Romary - I mean that in the nicest way. You know, you never know when you will bump into Mr. Right

OP, you can try Lunch Dates or It's Just Lunch! An ex-boyfriend met his wife using Lunch Dates. You didn't say your age, when I tried Lunch Dates myself I was told women over 40 have more of a challenge because the men want younger women.

It is a numbers game, I will agree. But better to play the odds with online dating than RL.
