Re: Dare I say it - I think winter is over!

West Coast is suppose to have a big storm coming through in the next week. Centeral and Northern CA will get up to 10 inches of rain and there is suppose to be snow in the higher mountains.

I guess it all depends where you live. In the northeast Mother Nature can play tricks on us. Snow this weekend then a few days in the 60's next week. Then we could have a snow storm, you never know. April is a little more pretictable around here. You're lucky and enjoy the warmer weather.

.....nice to hear.  Here in MA, we are about a month behind you.  March is crazy month weatherwise, some days it will be in the teens; some days it will be in the 40's.  We might even get a 70 degree day  or two but real spring comes in April.

We had snow on Thursday. I would love to think winter is over, but in my years I have seen accumulating snow on Easter and even flurries in the month of May.

I knew it, we have 1 new inch. It should melt with the forecast for this next week. It's been snow/melt/gone, snow/melt/gone, etc. etc.

Right now I am sitting in my den here in upstate NY and I am freezing! We are scheduled to have high temps at the beginning of the week but then it will return to our normal March weather. We've had some of our worst snow storms in March. Our safe growing season starts in late May. That's why my daughter moved to Florida as soon as she could.
