"Masterson, who was arrested in 2020, is now reportedly facing a maximum sentence of 30 years to life after he was convicted of two of three rapes alleged to have occurred between 2001 and 2003.

After jurors deliberated for more than seven days, a third count of rape resulted in a hung jury with 8-4 jurors voting in favor of conviction, according to Variety.

The "That '70s Show" actor did not register much of a reaction to the verdict, according to L.A. reporter Meghann Cuniff, who noted that his family members were "fighting back tears" and that wife Bijou Phillips also began to cry.

Masterson was handcuffed and immediately sent to jail, where he will be remanded until the next hearing on Aug. 4, per Cuniff."

"After a deadlocked jury led to a mistrial in December, prosecutors retried Masterson, saying he forcibly raped three women in his Hollywood Hills home between 2001 and 2003. They told jurors he drugged the women’s drinks so he could rape them. They said he used his prominence in the church — where all three women were also members at the time — to avoid consequences for decades."

The church refused to bring charges against him going back decades when the women first reported it to the church.. They hid his crimes.

His life is ruined. He will now have to register as a sex offender wherever he goes. I dont understand how these celebrities think that they are above the law.

Hopefully now Scientology will have to stop protecting criminals like they have been doing for decades.
