Alexa, 26, best known for her big-screen role in Spy Kids, and her husband, 26-year-old actor and singer Carlos (Big Time Rush), will be the dancing competition's first married duo to compete against each other on the series.

The remaining DWTS contestants will be revealed on Wednesday, Sept. 2 onGood Morning America and Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Every season gets worse and worse....b rate "stars". I would not even call Bindi a star at all! They should call it Dancing With The Nobodies.

Well, she may have just been kiddin' around, but who knows.

No offense to anyone, but I really don't understand all the shock and disbelief that the "Stars" are B list and just run of the mill "celebrities" from all different professions.

Did anyone really think that the A list stars ( a lot of which don't even do television) would be showing up on this show?

LOL - point well taken. It's probably not going to be Clooney, PItt and Aniston. BUT, these aren't even B-list stars - that's being overly generous by a long shot (although I think Bindi is much more of a celeb in Australia than here). Valerie Harper was a cut above these people, as was Nancy Grace, at least in terms of celebrity. I guess Deen is a pretty big celeb, but not as big as before her downfall and her merchandise is now at Big Lots and other outlets stores because it's so devalued.

But really, can't they get even C-list stars and at least people I've heard of?

Video/Youtube stars like last season - come on....that was scraping the bottom of the barrel. Can't they get fairly well-known and current people maybe whose TV series just ended and they could use work or something? I'd love to see someone like Josh Radnor from How I Met Your Mother is something like what I'm thinking.

Really? This married couple? I do like the idea of the Triple Crown winning jockey - he's current news (at least it's from the 2015 horse races!) and I like him for the athlete choice.
