I really like Dan. He is old QVC, back when vendors could demo their wares.

I was watching the presentation of the Kindle TSV the other day. Dan and the guy presenting really enjoyed themselves, which in turn made a better presentation to the audience. When the TSV was presented at midnight with Rick the poor demo guy couldn't get in a word and sat their looking quite bored.

Repeating the same phrases is just the way it is - amazing, amazing; just like buttah; for a dollah a day; worth the price of admission; listen!; hey guys; that's just perfect, and so on & on.

I like Dan, too. He's so calm and his voice isn't a bit grating, unlike some others.

I don't either. He sounds completely insincere; I wouldn't trust a word he said. Just a sleezy salesman.

What some consider calming, I consider boring.

I seldom watch QVC now but it's been a long time since they've had a male host I could watch for any length of time.

My feelings about him are much like they were with Bob Bowersox. Liked him at first, but now I feel he has so many irons in the fire, that QVC is just easy money and he basically phones it in.

I have always liked Dan Hughes. Soft-spoken, pleasant voice and he gives all the pertinent information in his presentations. He is also courteous to the vendors.
