So sad... and Carolyn Gracie too!!! 😭 I enjoyed watching them! 💔💔 Loved seeing a "regular" woman ( like me...) they both will be missed immensely!!

So I guess the trick to keeping your host gig is shouting, laughing, or dancing during your presentations.

So how will the shifts of the two missing host be covered? Will the remaining host be on slightly longer at a time to make up for not having two people?  Like will a host be on more hours than there used to be?  Or maybe only have one host on a show instead of sometimes have two or three at a time?

I haven't read through all the posts so maybe this has been mentioned but my guess is they are replacing these long time, no doubt highly paid, hosts for cheaper newbies.

Dan is a class act and is the only watchable host for me. I'm sorry to see him go.

It doesn't take much for someone to read between the lines on Dan's good-bye post.  It sounds like he was surprised to be given his pink slip.  Of course he and Carolyn are going to be fine.  I'm certain that financially they are both very well off.  I doubt very much that either of them are going to have to look for other jobs.

Most  likely just being let go so abruptly really came as a shock to them and no matter what their ages I'm certain that after all of their years with QVC they weren't expecting that.  

I don't know what is going on with QVC but I feel this is a big mistake.  Many people relate to these hosts and Carolyn especially comes across as someone who is more down to earth and thus seems more relatable to those of us who live pretty regular lives.  

I don't watch much QVC at all now so them leaving isn't having a big impact on my life but I do feel sorry that those who enjoy Dan and Carolyn.  It might sound silly but after watching a particular host for years you do form an attachment and when they leave you miss them.  I know I always enjoyed Kathy Levine and when she left, by her own choice, I missed her.
