The ordinary things we do each day are often taken for granted
and make us feel unimportant. Lord, help me change my thinking
so that I can happily see that the little things I do are very important
and that I do make a very big difference.

"You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of
joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore." ~Psalm 16:11

Faith is the messenger that bears our prayers to God. Prayer can be
like incense, rising ever higher and higher. The prayer of faith is
the prayer of trust that feels the presence of God which it rises to
meet. It can be sure of some response from God. We can pray a prayer
of thanks to God every day for God's grace, which has kept us on the
right way and allowed us to start living the good life. So we can
pray to God with faith and trust and gratitude.

I pray that I may feel sure of God's response to my prayers. I pray
that I may be content with whatever form that response takes.
Hello my friends! Today I was so tired, I didn't get much done - took a
nap - thought a lot about Darla - wishing and praying her pain goes away -
and that her life won't be in danger with all the pain meds she's taking -
she really needs lots of prayers - and I thank you all who are kind enough
to pray for her. At work today my husband waited on a priest - the Vocation
Director of the Diocese, and they had a nice visit - found out we will be
losing both our priests this June and getting new ones. Our Pastor, Fr.
Vince, is retiring. Fr. Matt will get his own parish. They talked about a
Seminarian who used to be living close to us in our other town, he is the
son of friends of ours. He told the Vocation Director he was thinking of
being a priest, but when his grandmother told him that she saw him saying
Mass in priest's vestments, either in a dream or thoughts, he knew that's
what God wanted of him. I remember him as a kid!
Nice that my DH had such a nice visit with Father Gregory. Tonight will be
getting to bed a lot earlier and getting a lot done tomorrow! We are
missing Sammy a lot, but know he's in good hands and on Thursday morning his
day off, we go to my sister's to visit her and take him back home!
Circle of Friends
Dear Lord,
I know you're watching over me
And I'm feeling truly blessed
For no matter what I pray for
You always know what's best!
I have this circle of E-mail friends,
Who mean the world to me;
Some days I "send" and "send,"
At other times, I let them be.
I am so blessed to have these friends,
With whom I've grown so close;
So this little poem I dedicate to them,
Because to me they are the "Most"!
When I see each name download,
And view the message they've sent;
I know they've thought of me that day,
And "well wishes" were their intent.
So to you, my friends, I would like to say,
Thank you for being a part;
Of all my daily contacts,
This comes right from my heart.
God bless you is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until we write again.
SINNER'S PRAYER FOR SALVATION
"Dear Lord, be merciful to me a sinner.
I believe Jesus died for my sins on the cross,
and rose again the third day.
I repent of my sins.
By faith I receive the Lord Jesus as my Savior.
You promised to save me, and I believe You,
because You are God and cannot lie.
I believe right now the Lord Jesus is my personal Savior,
and all my sins are forgiven through His precious blood.
I thank You, dear Lord, for saving my soul.
In Jesus' Name.
Amen.
