Meditation for the day:

Fear is the curse of the world. Our fears can be many. Fear is everywhere.
I can fight fear as I would a plague. I can turn it out of my life. There
is not room for fear in the heart in which God dwells. Fear cannot exist
where true love is or where faith lives. So I need not fear. Fear is evil,
but "perfect love casts out fear." Fear can destroy hope and hope is
necessary for all of us!

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may have not fear. I pray that I may cast all fear out of my
life.

Hello my friends! Today I spent a little time on the phone to my sisters -
I have to say that I'm very happy that Erma seems to be doing ok. Sister
LaDonna gave us each a Rosary from when she was in Medjudgorje, rosaries
that a man made for a living from the rocks on the mountain. I told you
about that before, but now she asked me if the chain turned to gold yet,
What? She said hers did and wondered if mine did. Yesterday we looked at it
carefully and sure enough! the chain is gold! It was silver when we got
it - when all of us got them. I called Deil today and asked her, she had no
idea, hadn't looked at it for awhile. Later, soon after she called and said
hers is gold too! How cool is that? So this is a blessing for today! I
felt so much better today - no more sniffles, so did some house cleaning,
vacuuming, dusting and mopping with that micro-fiber mop with just water
added to it.. I sure like that mop! We had left over pork roast, cut into
bite sized pieces and made into a stir fry tonight. It was very good and
filling with the rice. Linus' knee started to bother him again - let's
pray that it doesn't get worse again. Thank you! Always something, right?
Praying for all of your desires and needs!

You Are Very Special
In all the world there is nobody, nobody like you. Since the beginning of
time there has never been another person like you. Nobody has your smile,
your eyes, your hands, your hair. Nobody owns your handwriting, your voice.
You're Special.

Nobody can paint your brush strokes. Nobody has your taste for food or music
or dance or art. Nobody in the universe sees things as you do. In all time
there has never been anyone who laughs in exactly your way, and what makes
you laugh or cry or think may have a totally different response in another.
So - You're Special.

You're different from any other person who has ever lived in the history of
the universe. You are the only one in the whole creation who has your
particular set of abilities. There is always someone who is better at one
thing or another. Every person is your superior in at least one way. Nobody
in the universe can reach the quality of the combination of your talents,
your feelings. Like a roomful of musical instruments some might excel in one
way of another but nobody can match the symphonic sound when all are played
together. Your Symphony. Through all eternity no one will ever walk, talk,
think or do exactly like you. You're Special.

You're rare and in all rarity there is enormous value. You're Special and it
is no accident you are. Please realise that God made you for a special
purpose. He has a job for you to do that nobody else can do as well as you
can. Out of the billions of applicants only one is qualified. Only one has
the unique and right combination of what it takes and that one is you.
You're Special!

Help Me To Let Go, and Let God

Dear Lord, Help me to let go and let You. Urge me to let go of my impatience
and to open my heart to Your Loving Patience. Teach me how to let go of my
pompous attitude in thinking I'm the only one capable of solving all of my
problems. Counsel me on how to let go of my cares, my worries and the noises
in my life... and to let You surround me with Your Tranquil Assurances of my
comfort.

Encourage me to let go of my selfishness and let You show me the benefit of
praying for others who seek Your Protection, Your Healings, Your
Forgiveness, Your Compassion and Your Rainbows after raging storms. Remind
me, Lord, of the Holy Benefits when I let go and let You lead me on Your
Path. Smile with me, Lord, when I finally let go and let You take over. Nod
Your Head in Sanctified Approval when I let go of my follies and let You
replace them with positive goals in my life. Amen.

Glory, Honor and Praise to You, Lord, forever and ever.


Prayer for Peace of Heart


Almighty and Eternal God
Give me, I beseech You
the great gift of inward peace
Command the winds and storms
of my unruly passions.
Subdue, by your grace, my proneness
to love created things too much,
Give me a love of suffering for your sake.
Make me forbearing and kind to others,
that I may avoid quarrels and contentions.
And teach me constantly to seek after
and to acquire that perfect resignation
to Your Holy Will
which alone brings interior peace. Amen
