Good evening eveyone,

Our Nation's Heros - by Karen O'Leary

Bless our nation's veterans, protectors of this land. Despite how hard the mission, side by side they took a stand.

They fought with faith and honor, hearts filled with country pride. Defenders of our freedom, some were wounded, others died.

Bless these loyal hero's, souls one in righting wrong. With gratitude, we laud them for they kept our nation strong.

It was 74 degrees here today...a cold front has moved in and now the bottom will fall out. My prayers go out for all the homeless people across this nation, may God help them find warm shelter and food.

Harlene, thank you for asking about me the other day. For the most part I am doing okay. Just like all of us, somedays are better then others. Just keep trying to move forward, one step at a time. Prayers always for you and your loved ones.

Thanks all for your wonderful posts today - and also honoring the Veterans. At Mass Sunday Father had a man come up who's a veteran and he recited a poem, very touching one, and he asked all the veterans in Church to stand up, and there were some there who we all raised our arms and blessed them.
