Hello my friends! Today's blessings was a great summer day without rain, some strawberries for me, and I picked some beautiful flowers from our yard and put in the house to admire - peonies, bleeding hearts, clematas (beautiful purple ones), pink and white peonies, and some weigelias - they are so beautiful! I used three vases. Georgia came today and cut my hair, I had her check my plantars wart, and she said she's never seen it that small, and that good in all the times she took care of it when here. I told her what I'm doing, and she said it's working!! I'm using essential oils, oregano and theives after soaking plus taking zinc twice a day for killing the virus. Wish I would have known this years ago, it would be gone by now. Got a call from Linus saying they were leaving Texas at 1 PM. Hope I hear from either one tonight yet before they go to sleep. Please continue to pray for their safety. Took care of Ollie again today and Lori was here for supper, tomorrow he comes again as she won't have time to go home at noon again. He really is a much better behaved dog now. Does a lot of resting and that's good. Praying for you all for all your needs.
Be sensitive to the feelings of others and show the same forgiveness and
compassion
that the Lord gives to you. Lord, give me the wisdom to know when to speak
and when to listen.
Scripture for the day:
"Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and
slander, together with all malice, and be kind to one another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as
Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and
sacrifice to God." ~Ephesians 4:31-5:2
Meditation for the day:
We cannot believe in God and keep our selfish ways. When we believe
more strongly in God, we begin to abandon our selfish ways. The old
self can shrivel up and die, and God's image can become much clearer.
The gradual elimination of selfishness in the growth of love for God and
our fellow human beings is a wonderful goal in our lives. As the
picture grows, we can reveal more and more of the likeness of God until
those who see us can see in us the power of God's grace at work in a
human life.
Prayer for the day:
I pray that I may grow in my likeness to God. I pray that others may
see in me some of the power of God's grace at work.
Thou shall not worry, for worry is the most unproductive of all human
activities.
Thou shall not be fearful, for most of the things we fear never come to
pass.
Thou shall not cross bridges before you come to them, for no one yet has
succeeded in accomplishing this.
Thou shall face each problem as it comes, you can only handle one at a time
anyway.
Thou shall not take problems to bed with you, for they make very poor
bedfellows.
Thou shall not borrow other people's problems. They can better care for them
than you can.
Thou shall not try to relive yesterday for good or ill, it is forever gone.
Concentrate on what is happening in your life and be happy now!
Thou shall be a good listener, for only when you listen do you hear
different ideas from your own. It is hard to learn something new when you
are talking, and some people do know more than you do.
Thou shall not become "bogged down" by frustration, for 90 percent of it is
rooted in self-pity and will only interfere with positive action.
Thou shall count thy blessings, never overlooking the small ones, for a lot
of small blessings add up to a big one.
A Savior Meditation
Be good, and you'll never regret it.
Be bad, and you'll never forget it.
If mistaken, be first to confess it.
If right, be the last to express it.
If wrong, then be quick to redress it.
If it's slander, be sure to suppress it.
Be kind, but let no one suspect it.
Be wise, but let no one detect it.
Be fair, for your friends will expect it.
Be swift, or perhaps you'll neglect it.
If it's borrowed, be quick to repay it.
If it's loaned, make excuse to delay it.
Be selfish, and no one will miss you.
Be a fool, and the demons will hiss you.
Be yourself, and the Good Lord will kiss you.
0 if only you knew the gift of God!
LORD, you loved me from all eternity; therefore you created me.
Behold you are precious in my eyes and glorious: because I love you (Isaiah
43:4)
You loved me after you created me; therefore you became man for me.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16).
You loved me after you became man for me; therefore you lived and died for
me.
Christ loved me and gave himself for me! (Galatians 2:20).
You loved me after you died for me; therefore you rose for me
I arose and I am still with you—even to the end of the world (Ps 138 and Mt
28:20).
You loved me after you rose for me; therefore you went to prepare a place
for me.
/ am going to prepare a place for you that where I am you also may be (Jn
14:3).
You loved me after you had gone to prepare a place for me; therefore you
came back to me.
O Jesus, you love me and you want to live in me and be one with me—to become
my very food and drink.
Take and eat; this is My body for you. Take and drink—this is My blood
poured out for you (Lk 22:19).
This is the mystery on our Altar, the mystery of the Blessed Sacrament, the
mystery of unspeakable love.
0 if only you knew the gift of God! (John 4:12).

Mother Teresa Said...
Be happy in the moment, that's enough. Each moment is all we need, not more.
Be happy now and if you show through your actions that you love others,
including those who are poorer than you, you'll give them happiness, too. It
doesn't take much - it can be just giving a smile. The world would be a much
better place if everyone smiled more. So smile, be cheerful, be joyous that
God loves you.
ARE YOU WILLING?
To close your book of complaints and to open the Book of praise?
To stop looking for friendship and start being friendly?
To ignore what life owes you and think about what YOU owe life?
To believe others are quite as sincere as you and to treat them with
respect?
To cease looking for someone to help you and to devote yourself to helping
others?

Good Afternoon:
Still trying to get things done before my planned trip "down the shore" (that's NJ talk for going to the beach). My wonderful and close beach friends have readied the house for me. I have been blessed to spend the last 27 summers at the beach. DH did indeed take care of me, and I am indeed fortunate. However, when I turned the landline back on, I went to check that it was on and forgot that DH recorded the message down there. Yes, it made me sad, but it also made me smile to hear his voice again.
Then I get a certified letter from SS addressed to him asking that he come in person for some unknown reason to discuss his benefits. That was so ridiculous it was funny. I called the main SS number and was told that the letter should never have been sent and that all the changes had already been made.
What next????
Have a wonderful day everyone. Take care.

Blessings to all here. I was feeling so sick this morning and prayed for Jesus to help me. I am feeling some better now. Jesus is so good. Praise His holy name!

Cakers - that is alot of money for peonies for a stem!!! I'll appreciate ours more from our yard now!!! They do smell nice in the house. Hope we get to see you tomorrow sometime. Enjoy your trip!
Shorelady - that's why you have that nic! Enjoy your time there at the shore! I bet too, that it was a jolt to hear his voice on the recorder. My sister who lost her daughter to cancer, keeps her voice on the recorder always. It's to special for her to delete. So many things happen after the death of someone - it's hard, I know. I was with my sisters when they lost their husbands to cancer.
Bobbiesue - I do hope you are still feeling better!!! Praise the Name of Jesus!!
