Meditation for the day:

I can believe that my faith in God's power can accomplish anything.
There is no limit to what these two things can do. When we believe,
anything can happen. Saint Paul said: "I can do all things through him who
strengthens me." All walls that divide us from other human beings can fall
by our faith and God's power. These are the two essentials.
Everyone an be moved by these.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may try to strengthen my faith day by day. I pray that I may
rely more and more on God's power.

Hello my friends! I heard from Ocean - please do keep her and her husband
in your prayers. He's getting weaker, has to have dialysis and he could go
any time. So I'm asking you all to say some prayers for them. It's such a
hard road to go for them both. He hasn't been home in 3 months. Here we
lift them both up in prayer, Ocean needs our prayers for strength! Today we
didn't go to Mass here at our Parish, got up too late, had our coffee and
started our day and then we went to the noon Mass at the Cathedral and guess
what? Fr. Jerry had the Mass! He has such a wonderful singing voice, and
he sang a song before and after and sang parts of the Mass - it was so
beautiful and peaceful! Lots of people come to that noon Mass. I just
wish you all could meet Father Jerry! After that we went shopping at our
Good Earth Food Coop and we love those ladies over there who are so helpful
with all that they sell there, the right kind of cinnamon, Himalayan salt,
all that good stuff! I asked the last time if they had powdered almond
milk, this one lady, Amanda, didn't know, but would look it up, got a call
from her today saying she couldn't find any in research but will continue
looking and will call me back when she finds it. The people who work there
are all very knowledgeable and it's such a blessing to have that store near
us! Everyone there is so cheerful and wanting to help, it's such a nice
atmosphere!! They also have a small delicatessen with good, organic foods
cooked.
In my nutrition classes I've learned a lot thru the years, but I can
continue learning from this store. It also comes with a newsletter talking
about some good products and their nutritional values. Today was my
hubby's day off, he's been busy putting some finishing touches on Lori's
under the steps storage. Dr. Mike saw him today and there was a lot of
improvement and he doesn't have to go back for 10 days!! My planters' wart
is getting better and better - no more redness - and new skin is coming over
it. Prayers being answered there too!! Just can't afford to get it frozen
off again, which never helped anyway.

Humility

It is said that humility is truth and Jesus is truth,
therefore the one thing that will make us most Christlike is humility.

Prayer for Help

Lord God, you are everything to me. My spirit rejoices in you, my Savior.
Thank you for seeking me when I was lost and for finding me. Thank you for
choosing me to go forth and bear lasting fruit in your name. Thank you for
enabling me to bear fruit for you, Lord. Without you, I can do nothing.

You are good, O Lord, and you are always ready to forgive. Thank you for
