Hello my friends! This afternoon was fun- We went along with Lori to lease a car, and she found one! It'll be ready for her next week. Price was right - she's getting a Chevy Equinox - 172 per month for three years. I think she's getting white. Her red Impala 2000 won't go through another winter. It was exciting to try them out and the salesman and Linus know each other, it's from a small town dealer. His GM card and her car will do the down payment! Praise the Lord!!! It's been a hot day today with humidity! Lori leaves tomorrow on another Seminar for Myro Facial Massages - guess where Ollie goes?

We are judged by our actions, not by our intentions. Lord, may I show
my love for You through charity and goodness toward others.

Meditation for the day:

"Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."
When God finds two or three of us in union, who only want God's will to
be done, who want only to serve God, God has a plan that can be revealed
to them. The grace of God can come to people who are together in one
place with one accord. A union like this is miracle-working. God is
able to use such people. Only good can come through such consecrated
people, brought together in unified groups for a single purpose and of a
single mind.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may be part of a unified group. I pray that I may
contribute my share to its consecrated purpose.

God's Faithfulness



One thing nice about God, the more you think of Him the more closer He stays
besides you. If you forget Him, He follows behind you and if you fall, He
will carry you.

God hides from us the things that we are not yet ready to receive. That is
why when we try to get it ourselves, we end up with the 2nd best. Just pray
and wait.

When we get hurt, it is one way God is telling us that not all that's
painful is bad or wrong. We get hurt so we'd never hurt others the way we
were hurt.

There's A Reason

God Can Do It

What we can accomplish on our own is hardly noteworthy.
But with the hand of the Master, our life's work truly can be beautiful.

A mother once took her young son, who was just beginning to learn to play
the piano, to hear the world-famous Polish pianist Jan Paderewski in
concert. After an usher had shown them their seats, the mother spotted a
friend in the audience and walked down the aisle to greet her. The little
boy saw that as his opportunity to explore the wonders of the concert hall,
and eventually explored his way through a door marked “NO ADMITTANCE.” When
the house lights dimmed and the concert was about to begin, the mother
returned to her seat and discovered that her son was missing.

Suddenly, the curtains parted and spotlights focused on the impressive grand
piano on stage. In horror, the mother saw her little boy sitting at the
keyboard, innocently picking out “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.” At that
moment, Paderewski made his entrance, quickly moved to the piano, and
whispered in the boy's ear, “Don't stop. Keep playing.”

Then Paderewski leaned over, reached down with his left hand and began
filling in a bass part. Soon his right arm reached around to the other side
of the child and added a third part. Together, the old master and the young
novice transformed a frightening situation into a wonderfully creative
experience. The audience was mesmerized.

That's the way it is with our heavenly Father. What we can accomplish on our
own is hardly noteworthy. We try our best, but the results aren't exactly
graceful, flowing music. But with the hand of the Master, our life's work
truly can be beautiful.

Next time you set out to accomplish great feats, listen carefully. You can
hear the voice of the Master, whispering in your ear, “Don't stop. Keep
playing.” Feel His loving arms around you. Know that His strong hands are
there, helping you turn your feeble attempts into true masterpieces. As long
as you're trying your best to do what He knows is best, He'll always be
there to love and guide you on to great things.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIFE

1. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

24. Marry a person you love to talk to. As you grow older, his or her
conversational skills will be as important as any other.

27. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
28. Read more books and watch less tv.
29. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back,
you'll get to enjoy it a second time.

31. A loving atmosphere in your home is so important. Do all you can to
create a tranquil, harmonious home.
32. In disagreements with loved ones, deal with a current situation. Don't
bring up the past.
33. Read between the lines.
34. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.
35. Be gentle with the earth.
36. PRAY. There's immeasurable power in it.
37. Never interrupt when you are being flattered. Say, "thank you".
38. Mind your own business.
39. Don't trust a person who doesn't close his or her eyes when you kiss
them.
40. Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
41. If you make a lot of money, put it to use helping others while you are
living. That is wealth's greatest satisfaction.
42. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a stroke of luck.
43. Learn the rules, then break some.
44. Remember that the best relationship is one where your love for each
other is greater than your need for each other.
45. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
46. Remember that your character is your destiny.
47. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.

We must know that we have been created for greater things, not just to be a
number in the world, not just to go for diplomas and degrees, this work and
