?Hello my friends! I just finished watching a good show on EWTN - about a slave girl ho turned a Saint - I never heard of her before, now I learned of a new Saint. St. Bathita. She's the Patron Saint of Africa. What a blessing to be watching EWTN! And many more blessings throughout the day - which I'm sure you have had too, our everyday blessings that are so important to us! May God answer all your prayers according to His Holy Will.
As you draw closer and closer to God, you won't have to tell anyone
because it will show in your face. Lord, teach me Your ways as I am
ready and let Your love and peace flow through me even in my difficult
moments.

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
~Philippians 4:13

I can believe that my faith in God's power can accomplish anything.
There is no limit to what these two things can do. When we believe,
anything can happen. Saint Paul said: "I can do all things through him who
strengthens me." All walls that divide us from other human beings can fall
by our faith and God's power. These are the two essentials.
Everyone an be moved by these.

I pray that I may try to strengthen my faith day by day. I pray that I may
rely more and more on God's power.
Jesus, I Want To Help You
May I become at all times,
both now and forever
A protector for those
without protection
A guide for those
who have lost their way
A ship for those with ocean to cross
A bridge for those with rivers to cross
A sanctuary for those in danger
A lamp for those without light
A place of refuge
for those who lack shelter
and a servant to all in need.
Bl. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
What are you saying; are your words good or bad,
Positive or negative, happy or sad?
The words of your mouth lead to failure or success.
Do you ever wonder how you got into that mess?
You are in charge of the words that you speak.
Will you be strong, or will you be weak?
Do you speak words of sickness, or words of health?
Do you speak of poverty, or are your words of wealth?
What you say each day is what comes to pass in your life.
Are your days full of peace, or are they full of strife?
Your life will reflect the words that you say.
Speak positive, uplifting words and life will manifest that way.
Speak negative, depressing, 'Oh, poor me' kind of things...
Then the road to failure is what these words will bring.
It's your choice; it's up to you.
What are you saying; what will you do?

Stay On Course
You've been planning for the perfect vacation for six months, and now
the day is finally here. The tickets are in your pocket, your bags are
packed, and you're driving to the airport. On the way, you pass a favorite
restaurant and think about how much you like their food. You turn the
car around, go back to the restaurant, walk in, sit down and enjoy a
delicious meal. The only trouble is, by the time you finish eating you've
missed your flight and you don't get to take that vacation of a lifetime.
Would this ever happen? Of course not. When you're on your way to something
you've been working for, planning, and anxiously awaiting, you'd never let
a petty distraction throw you off track. Or would you?
Unfortunately, it happens every day. Too often, we let the distractions of
the moment deny us our most treasured goals. The next time you're tempted
by a distraction, keep in mind where you're already headed and how very
much you desire to get there.
Ask yourself if you would prefer to have the distraction or the goal you've
set for yourself. Rather than hopping from one empty distraction to another,
focus your effort and attention toward those things which will bring true
and lasting fulfillment.

What If It Were Today?
Jesus is coming to earth again --
What if it were today?
Coming in power and love to reign --
What if it were today?
Coming to claim His chosen Bride,
All the redeemed and purified.
Over this whole earth scattered wide --
What if it were today?
Satan's dominion will then be o'er --
O, that it were today!!!
Sorrow and sighing shall be no more --
O, that it were today!!!
Then shall the dead in Christ arise,
Caught up to meet Him in the skies.
When shall these glories meet our eye?
What if it were today?
Faithful and true would He find us here
If He should come today?
Watching in gladness and not in fear,
If He should come today?
Signs of His coming multiply,
Morning light breaks in the eastern sky;
Watch, for the time is drawing nigh --
What if it were today?
Glory, glory!!!
Joy to my heart 'twill bring;
Glory, glory!!!
When we shall crown Him King;
Glory, glory!!!
Haste to prepare the way;
Glory, glory!!!
Jesus will come someday!!!

Come to Me for rest and refreshment. The journey has been too much for you, and you are bone-weary. Do not be ashamed of your exhaustion. Instead, see it as an opportunity for Me to take charge of your life.
Remember that I can fit everything into a pattern for good, including the things you wish were different. Start with where you are at this point in time and space, accepting that this is where I intend you to be. You will get through today one step, one moment at a time. Your main responsibility is to remain attentive to Me, letting Me guide you through the many choices along your pathway.
This sounds like an easy assignment, but it is not. Your desire to live in My Presence goes against the grain of “the world, the flesh, and the devil.” Much of your weariness results from your constant battle against these opponents. However, you are on the path of My choosing, so do not give up! Hope in Me, for you will again praise Me for the help of My Presence.
We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
—Romans 8:28 amp
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.
—Psalm 42:11 nasb - From Jesus Calling
