Hello, friends. I know this won't be the same as having our Gloria here, but will post this, with her friend Nadine's help, while she's enjoying her time in TX.
With our blessings come responsibilities. Much is required of those to whom
much has been given. Lord, may I use my blessings to be a blessing to others.

"I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me,
hear my words. Wondrously show your steadfast love, O savior of those who
seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand. Guard me as the
apple of the eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings." ~Psalm 17:6-8

Our need can be God's opportunity. First we can recognize our need. Often
this means helplessness before some weakness or sickness and an admission of our need for help. Next can come faith in the power of God's spirit, available to us to meet that need. Before any need is met, our faith can find expression. That expression of faith is all God needs to manifest God's power in our lives. Faith can be the key that unlocks the storehouse of God's resources.

I pray that I may first admit my needs. I pray that then I may have faith
that God will meet those needs, in the way which is best for me.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. You are special - Don't ever forget it!
Let us pray:
Lord, you know everything about us. Why then do we fear you won't be there when we need you?
Lord, reveal to our hearts today the depths of your love for us. Help us to trust in your promise and your love so we may be free to learn to step out in faith when you call us to. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

The Pathway of Pain
If my days were untroubled and my heart always light,
would I seek that fair land where there is no night?
If I never grew weary with the weight of my load,
would I search for God´s peace at the end of the road?
If I never knew sickness and never felt pain,
would I search for a hand to help and sustain?
If I walked without sorrow and lived without loss,
would my soul seek solace at the foot of the cross?
If all I desired was mine day by day,
would I kneel before God and earnestly pray?
If God sent no winter to freeze me with fear ,
would I yearn for the warmth of Spring every year?
I ask myself these things and the answer is plain,
if my life were pleasure and I never knew pain
I’d seek God less often and need Him much less,
for God is sought more often in times of distress.
And no one knows God or sees Him as plain
as those who have met Him on the "Pathway of Pain."
I hope you all have a beautiful Saturday full of whatever makes you happiest. Cathy, thanks for stopping in. I was thinking about you today and wondered how you were doing, so it was nice to see you. Shopcity, hope you're enjoying the kids' spring break and that y'all are getting ready for Easter. Pat, thanks for stopping in, too. Hope we hear today from some of those who've been missing lately. Take care, my friends.
May God Bless You
May God bless you
With unspeakable joy,
Not only in the world to come,
But in this world also.
May your path be bright and
Full of light everywhere you go.
May God tell darkness
That it must flee at your command.
And, I pray your feet will
Never stumble out of God's plan.
May the desires of your heart come true, and
May you experience peace in everything you do.
May goodness, kindness, and
Mercy Come your way and,
May you gain Wisdom and
Grow in the Lord everyday.
