Hello all you positive pals and grateful gals!! Today was another car shopping day for Darla, at the Ford shop. She tried the hatchback Focus and the Fiesta - liked both. Tonight her husband comes in she picks him up at the airport, and they'll decide, Monday will be decision day. She may be getting a pretty blue, called candy blue. I enjoyed being along again! She had to get to Mpls yet to visit a friend and have supper with her - so she needed to leave earlier, thanks for the texting, I found out she's okay driving to Mpls and it was during rush hour, she's with her friend!! Texts are blessings! Another thing about the text is that when Linus' brother was deer hunting a couple years ago, and steps to the tree broke and he fell and couldn't get up - phones didn't have any reception, but he texted his son who came right away and got him to the hospital, he had a broken bone. He's okay now, but if it weren't for his being able to text his son, who knows how long he would have had to lay there out in the wilderness!!! Both girls will be gone this weekend, spending time in Mpls. with friends but coming back on Sunday night or Monday. Praying for you all for all your intentions.

MY DAILY OFFERING

please try to lift your mind and heart

to your heavenly Father,

and offer to Him the new day He has given you.)

Most loving Father,

I thank You for the gift of this new day.

Please help me to use it for your honor and glory.

By Your grace,

may all my thoughts, words, and actions

be pleasing today in Your sight.

In Your great kindness,

Lord Almighty,

preserve me this day without sin,

and protect all people from every evil.

May the ever-blessed Virgin Mary,

Mother of our Savior,

keep us under her protection and by her prayers,

and the aid of all your Saints,

keep us ever intent on doing good today for your sake.

We ask these blessings through Your Son,

Jesus Christ,

our Redeemer.

Amen.

but simply by lifting the mind and heart

Good Morning everyone!

Gloria: The blue colors sounds nice. Glad Darla's husband will be here tonight.

We are going out later the afternoon with the kids for a bite to eat - I'm not big on eating out but it will be nice to get out with them.
