Give yourself more exercise than jumping to conclusions. Lord, grant
me sincerity and wisdom in my daily life.

Scripture for the day:

You do well if you really fulfill the royal law according to the scripture,
"You shall love your neighbor as yourself." ~James 2:8

Meditation for the day:

I can prepare myself by doing each day what I can to develop spiritually and
to help others to do so. Events in my life can test me, train me and bend
me to God's will. If I am not properly trained, I cannot meet the test when
it comes. I can want God's will for me above all else.
I need not expect to have what I am not prepared for. This preparation
consists of quiet communion with God every day and gradually gaining the
strength I need.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may really try to do God's will in all my affairs. I pray
that I may do all I can to help others find God's will for them.

Hello my friends! Today, Sunday, was a nice, peaceful day here, we only
went to Mass - and stayed home the rest of the day. He watched football, I
spent some time with emails and phone calls. I just finished talking to my
sister, Erma. She seems to be doing well, and is glad that Sister LaDonna
is staying with her until Wednesday. We talked a lot about Joe and how
amazed she was at how much he was so loved there! More than we ever knew.
We talked about the picture of the Blessed Virgin - and told her I want to
have a copy. Maybe one of her daughters can scan it and email it to me.
That would be wonderful. She appeared to him before Thanksgiving - and on
Thanksgiving he told about it but forgot the picture - the picture came to
Erma for Christmas, all framed. I also got to talk to Sister LaDonna too -
she's happy to have the time to spend with Erma. Christmas was the last
time the family saw Joe. Okay, I'll try not to ramble on and on - so I'll
let you all have a chance to post. It just made me feel so good to talk to
her tonight. She is doing better than I expected. Her appetite is better
now, and she's eating - she said for awhile there she just couldn't think of
food.

Maybe God wanted us to meet the wrong people before meeting the right
one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to
be grateful for that gift.

Maybe when the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often
times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one
which has been opened for us.

Maybe the best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and
swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was
the best conversation you've ever had.

Maybe it is true that we don't know what we have got until we lose it,
but it is also true that we don't know what we have been missing until
it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love
you back. Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in
their heart; but if it does not, be content it grew in yours.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like
someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget
someone.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that
fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a
smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your
heart smile.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just
want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real.

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you
want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all
the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make
you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you
happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you,
it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have
searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the
importance of people who have touched their lives.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you
can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and
heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was
smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you are the one who is
smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Give Me Strength

Strange..


Strange how simple it is for people to trash God and
then wonder why the world's going to h ell.

Strange how we believe what the newspapers say,
but question what the Bible says.

Strange how everyone wants to go to heaven
provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible
says.

Strange how someone can say
"I believe in God" but still follow Satan
(who, by the way, also "believes" in God).

Strange how jokes spread like wildfire,
but we think twice about sharing messages regarding the Lord.

Strange how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday,
but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week.

Strange how I can be more worried about what other people think of me
than what God thinks of me.

Help Me Lord, to grow closer to You, to love you without fear or hesitation,
and to become a better Christian.

Help us to find You in our lives and see You in each other. Give us the
strength to trust in You completely and truly believe that, as our Father,
You have plans of happiness for each of us, even though sometimes it feels
as though we are waiting forever.

Saint Faustina´s Healing Prayer

Jesus may Your pure

A PRAYER TO OUR LADY FOR HEALING

Mary Immaculate, you have given yourself to us as our Lady of the Miraculous
Medal. You have asked us to pray with confidence, and we will receive great
graces. We know your compassion, because you saw your Son suffer and die for
us. In your union with his suffering you became the mother of us all.
Mary, my mother, teach me to understand my suffering as you do and to endure
it in union with the suffering of Jesus. In your motherly love, calm my
fears and increase my trust in God's loving care.

According to God's plan, obtain for me the healing I need. Intercede with
your Son that I may have the strength I need to work for God's glory and the
salvation of the world. Amen.

PRAYER WHEN YOU NEED HEALING INSIDE

O God,
These prayers come from all of us. Someone prays on our behalf, but the
prayers belong to everyone, and come from our hearts more than from our
mouths. In some ways none of us really knows how another feels, because
each of us must struggle with his own fears, cope with his own problems,
hurt from his own pains, search for his own goals, forgive and be forgiven
his own failures. In such matters, God, when we seek understanding and
hope for encouragement, it is to you that we turn. In moments such as
these, we reach beyond ourselves and our troubles to you...asking not so
much for things, but for a second or two of your presence. Just your
slightest touch, and the day will be blessed, the raw spots will be healed
and there will be peace in the hours ahead. And so we pray to you
Dear God, Almighty, Everlasting One--all of us--giving thanks for
this moment, your touch and our healing. Amen.

May you all have a very peaceful, positive and blessed day tomorrow is my
wish for you all. May God grant you all your heart's desires according to
His Will.
