Hello my friends! Another rainy day here but the grass is so nice and green and with the garden in, except for tomatoes that come in later, things should grow. The sun comes out tomorrow here - and warms up the earth in my town. Let us pray for go2girl's grandson so he can receive the gift of sight! Let's pray for a miracle. Also I ask for prayers to continue for Darla - the Dean hasn't gotten back to her yet, he was going to call her this morning, but didn't. He's busy, getting ready for his retirement the end of this month. Let's pray for him to be reasonable with the wage - May God grant Darla her hearts desire! That would be ours, too, of course! We want her home! She is sooooooo far away!
What we endure in this life is nothing compared to the glory that God
has in store for us in heaven. Lord, take every moment of my life as a
prayer to praise and glorify Your holy name.
Scripture for the day:
"You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of
joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore." ~Psalm 16:11
Meditation for the day:
There are two paths, one up and one down. We have been given free
will to choose either path. We are captains of our souls to this
extent only. We can choose the good or the bad. Once we have chosen
the wrong path, we go down and down, eventually to death. But if we
choose the right path, we can go up and up, until we come to the
resurrection day. On the wrong path, we have no power for good
because we do not choose to ask for it. But on the right path, we are
on the side of good and we have all the power of God's spirit behind
us.
Prayer for the day:
I pray that I may be in the stream of goodness. I pray that I may be
on the right side, on the side of all good in the universe.
Press Onward
Keep a brave spirit,
and never despair
Hope brings you messages
through the keen air
Good is victorious,
God everywhere
Grand are the battles
which you have to fight
Be not downhearted,
but valiant for right
Hope, and press forward,
your face to the light.

Mother Teresa Said...
There is more hunger in the world for love and appreciation in this world than for bread.
I Love You Anyway
The fear of rejection may be one of the most basic fears of the human experience. Dr. Joe Harding tells a heart-warming story of a man who finally decided to ask his boss for a raise in salary. It was Friday. He told his wife that morning what he was about to do, All day the man felt nervous and apprehensive. Late in the afternoon he summoned the courage to approach his employer. To his delight, the boss agreed to a raise.
The man arrived home to a beautiful table set with their best china. Candles were lighted. His wife had prepared a festive meal. Immediately he figured that someone from the office had tipped her off! Finding his wife in the kitchen, he told her the good news. They embraced and kissed, then sat down to a wonderful meal. Next to his plate the man found a beautiful lettered note. It read: "Congratulations, darling! I knew you'd get the raise! These things will tell you how much I love you."
While on his way to the kitchen to get dessert he noticed that a second card had fallen from her pocket. Picking it off the floor, he read: "Don't worry about not getting the raise! You deserve it anyway! These things will tell you how much I love you."
Total acceptance! Total love. Her love for him was not contingent upon his success at work. In fact, just the opposite. If he were to fail there, if he were to be rejected by his boss he'd be all the more accepted at home. She stood behind him no matter what; softening the blows, healing the wounds, believing in him, loving him. We can be rejected by almost anyone if we're loved by one.
That's the way families can be with each other. And I like to think that's the way God is with us, too! "We love because He first loved us."

Dear go2girl, praying very hard for your grandson. When we think we have problems we always hear of someone who has worse problems than us, God Bless the little guy.
Gloria, That Dean should be professional enough to call when he says he will, that kind of thing always burns me up. I'm continuing to pray for Darla, let's hope he calls her today with good news.
Counting my Blessings.

Gloria, I prayed for Go2girls grandson and for Darla. Hope Darla gets the job and the precious baby is given the gift of sight. My heart goes out for that little one. Jesus is the great physician, He can heal. Dear Lord Jesus give sight to this little grandson of Go2girl. May he see. Thank you, Amen....
I'm still having some trouble with my COPD. It is an on going problem, I guess.
Have a good day and many blessings to all here.

{{{go2girl}}} I think the world of you and your precious grandson is always in thought and prayer. It breaks my heart for his parents and for you. There is so much support here and know that we are all here for you anytime you need us.

Good Friday Morning:
Saying a prayer for each and everyone of our posters in need. And a special prayer going out to go2girl's precious grandson. May he be blessed with sight. And to Darla that things work out.
Right now I am teetering on the fence wondering what we did to deserve this. I guess we all go through that when facing trials and tribulations. We are just hoping for clearance to be able for him to take the drug. It is not a cure, but something that could slow the growth of the disease and expand his time.
Thank you again for all your prayers.

Bless you all so much for your prayers and words of encouragement. I guess some days I just feel so overwhelmed to think that a tiny baby could have such a struggle ahead to see the world around him. I pray for each of you daily and I am thankful for your love and support. Praise his Holy name.

Hello everyone,
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to ME, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13
Father thank You for letting us share with You our worries and cares. Father, I ask that You heal, Go2girl's precious grandson. Please Lord, through You and the help that You can give his doctors may his eyesight be redeemed. Give the doctors the skill and knowledge that they so need. Because of You Lord that precious child will tell You, how thankful he is...thankful to see all of Your Creations.
Father please bless the medicine for Shorelady's DH, so he can be healthy and not sick, that it's just right for his body.
Father please, we've been praying along time for Darla to return home. Lord you know this job situation, better then any of us...please open the door of communication. Please bring her home to a good job.
Father continued prayers for Felicia's health issues and her children. Prayers for each and everyone who comes here and post.
Lord so many have special requests, needs, lying upon their hearts...I ask Lord, if they seek You with all of their heart...please help them. Lord Jesus, we are grateful that You stand right beside us to comfort and guide us. Thank You Father, for giving us the peace of mind, of knowing You are standing and watching over the events that unfold and happen in our lives. In Jesus' name Amen.
Thank you for your prayers!
Until next time...
Take Care and God Bless!
