Good Friday Evening Ladies:

Just stopping by to say hello and to let you know that your kind thoughts and prayers have helped me to see a slight glimmer of hope at the end of this legal mess tunnel. I think I had mentioned my problems on this thread, not really sure. But going through the loss of my beloved husband with the added burden of untangling a legal mess created by an unethical lawyer has made the past few months a nightmare. A new attorney has been working to help me, and I hope and think we are headed in the right direction. Again thank you all. It has taken months of prayers, but they do indeed seem to be working.

gloriajean.....As usual, your kind words of explanation regarding St. Anthony have helped anyone who may not know of the various saints we pray to who help us. No one was being ridiculed except the nice poster (who I have posted with many times before) who simply asked a question. I have prayed to St. Anthony when I needed help finding an important document or my Mom's favorite rosary to pass on to my GD. In all honesty, I have never prayed to him for anything less.

That is really sad that you have to grieve your husband's death and have to deal with an unethical lawyer. May God forever cradle you in His loving arms and comfort you daily! Regarding St. Anthony, an old nun we knew and loved would say whenever she misplaced something, she'd say "Tony, cough it up!" and he did!

catwhisperer....thank you for your kind and thoughtful comments and words of encouragement. I have my ups and downs, but hopefully the ups will eventually overcome the downs. Again thank you. I tried to reply sooner, but just couldn't sign in. It has taken this long to do so.

It's none of our business. Whether Bobbisue pays $16.00 or $1.60 for a can of hair spray that is her choice and her decision. Perhaps she cuts corners in other areas of her budget to buy her brand of spray ... and that is totally up to her. Give her a break!!! and stop judging her!!!
