I'm grateful I have an excellent health care plan and will have little out of pocket expenses for cancer treatment.  My list could go on, but writing checks tonight took me in the financial direction.

At this moment in time I’m grateful for – beautiful skies, clean bathrooms, hair salons, wisdom and old friends.

Right now I am very grateful that I was able to recover saved emails from a crashed HD and move them to the new drive.

Today I’m grateful for – being able to sleep in, fresh fruit, sun hats and walking.

So many things but today, top ones:

Someone dumped a 13-year-old-injured and sick boxer mix at a shelter to be put down.  Thanks to efforts by rescuers and multiple shares on FB, he was saved from a cold, heartless death and rescued and loved. 

My friends have a beloved beagle who has cancer but after 5 agonizing days of tests and fear, they got wonderful news that no mast cells were found in her organs so surgery was done to remove her leg and she is recuperating and doing well!!

What a lovely thread.......

For the past 6 months I have been battling metastasized melanoma.......  This past Thursday I had my 2nd full body PET scan done and yesterday met with my oncologist to discuss the results.......One thing to be very grateful for is that it has not spread to any other places than where it originally was.  Start new kind of treatment this coming week, and hopefully this will make for more improvement in the battle I have been going through.

GCR.......I'm with you on the excellent health care plan.  I too am battling cancer, and just found out how expensive those treatments are......if it wasn't for the health care plan I have, I would never be able to afford the treatments. 

Good luck in your battle.......  Will say an extra prayer for you tonight.......
