I wonder that, too. It would have to be a guess as to how the guest was going to be able to dance though. I would never have guessed that Bindi would be as good as she is. I hate that Louis just came back and got Paula. I love watching him dance.

I doubt very much if anyone knew Bindi was a dancer at all. They only knew of her bubbly, enthusiastic personality. I think the younger ones are usually paired with Mark or Derrick or Val partly because both guys have a youthful, hip outlook and are willing to try difficult routines that young people could do. The other reasoning is that those guys are fantastic choreographers that would be what fans would want as long as possible. Tony's a nice guy, but I think his choreography is predictable as are some of the others. Some of the young lady pros are really making names for themselves, though. I can see some of them rising to the top as well. All I know is I probably wouldn't watch the show if Derrick or Mark or Val were elilminated early on with the likes of Paula Deen, etc. Why waste their talent? It is what it is, and these guys are the ones who draw in viewers.

Bindi is going to be around until the end.
Note to wardrobe: please make her more figure flattering costumes.
Could Karina have been sweeter to Victor through their (brief) journey? I have a whole new respect for her.

Does it seem to anyone else like most of the American blonde pro dancers on this show are from Utah? Is ballroom dancing or kids dancing in general a big deal in that state?

I think this show gets worse by the season. They need to cancel this show. Len Goodman made the show and now he is gone. They look like they are picking the stars to dance from the bottom of the barrel. I quit watching this show.

No, that would be too small a space. The stars are allowed to dance from the entire ballroom

You are right, dance must be big in Utah. If you watch SYTCD (which at least 3 of the current female pros as well ads Lacey Schwimmer appeared on before DWTS) many of the dancers are from Utah.

Kim's outfit was also unflattering.
