@Isobel Archer I am no longer following your train of thinking. If a person is drunk and you want sex with them, just dont. If you are drunk and feel like getting in your car to drive home, just dont. That way, everybody wakes up in the morning with no worries or regrets.

The problem with that is that once you are already drunk, it is too late for rational decisions.  Some people are even in a blackout and won't remember anything about what they did when drunk after they sober up.

 

The decision has to be made before drinking.  And while that may work for driving - if you simply don't have access to a car - it doesn't work so well for sex, because some people think they can stop before they get drunk and then they can't.

I haven't read every post, so!  When did this thread go from it's title: "DUI Penalty Proposal": to "consent" to have sex? Seems like a pretty big leap from driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
