Try to find one that contains Panthenol, that is the ingredient most used for volumizing.

Re: DRUGSTORE VOLUMIZING HAIR SPRAY

For thinning hair - buy the Hairmax or the cap style from QVC - Hairmax works!    I've used the same shampoo for decades and just purchased "NICK'S" (have no clue what his last name is - the Beverly Hills millionaire).  Even with a $3,000 water softener in my house - the old shampoo just left my hair dry-ish.  I shampooed with Nick's 2 days ago and what a difference!  Soft but manageable hair that's holding my style better than ever before.

This is my hint for the day - good luck!

I really like Loreal Elnett.  It is light, you can spray a lot and it will not weigh your hair down or make it crunchy.   I find that the orignal scent is unpleasant so I buy the unscented (still has a bit of a scent but it's not awful like the original). The can lasts a long time too.  One other thing I like about it--pretty much every other hair spray I have used from drugstore, to $25-30 bottles of high end hair spray, the nozzle ALWAYS gets clogged.  Not with Elnett, it never gets clogged.  They even sell it at my grocery store.

I've tried this; it's very effective.
