Yup!  I can't tell you how many crimes I've seen shown on these ID shows, etc, where some of the best evidence was video material from a large store, most often Walmart, of the perp picking up (cams throughout the store) and paying for all that you mentioned and more.   Plus, you have the credit card record of the purchase (because these boneheads don't even know enough to pay cash) and the cash register evidence that backs it up.

It's astonishing.  I don't commit crimes but I do know that if I did, there would be about 100 points of interest to make sure I am not leaving a trail.  A lot of it is common sense, but I've seen so much on these real crime shows that shows the gamut.
