Apple products only dominate the market in the U.S. In other countries Android is more popular.

My only issue (and it is a subtle one) is that the ports on my devices seem to be made with a material that collapses when a charging cord with a lightening insert twists and not only becomes unusable but also then ruins the internal connection for charging.
The situation seems "pre-meditated" to me.
I know exactly what you're referring to. I've experienced the same issue.
I also think there's something sketchy about the iPhone batteries--but I can't prove it. 😂
I have the iPhone 14. I understand they've done something to change the backlight of the screen to preserve the battery, but I want mine on full all the time. It's easier for me to read when the screen is brighter. When my setting is turned up as high as it will go, it adjusts to a darker screen even though I want a brighter one. I went into settings and turned off the batter saver option, but it didn't help. My dad uses the iPhone 15 and his doesn't do that. I noticed they're now talking about an iPhone 16 coming this fall.
One of the reasons I upgraded was for the camera, but I find it's more difficult to focus than the previous model.
@1tuffcookie , Regarding the brightness...
check under Settings-->Accessibility-->Display & Text Size.
Scroll down to Auto-Brightness and be sure it's disabled if you want to manually adjust.😊

Yes...after my fiasco with the charging cable (and tossing all non-Apple cords) I am very very careful now when putting in or taking out the charging cable from my iPad. The iPad seems to be more prone to a mis-fire. My iPhone (14) does not seem to be quite as susceptible.
Description: when inserting charger cord, it will obviously snap into place. On my "old and broken" iPad Pro, I wasn't getting a clean "snap" into place. The inner piece in the charging port had been offset, which is expensive to repair.
