DH Appreciates a Good Laugh....

....at my expense.

We stopped the other day at Sprouts so that I could get a particular brand of herbs.

While walking down one aisle I heard a beeping, like the sound of a vehicle backing up-slow but steady.

I looked down at my cart and then stepped around it looking up and down at it and said to DH- "Why is my cart beeping?  It's driving me nuts!".

He grinned and pointed to a clerk with a handheld inventory scanner-it would beep as she scanned the bar codes on items on the shelves.

Needless to say, he's still laughing.  Two days later.

Re: DH Appreciates a Good Laugh....

I had a similar experience at Ulta last month.  I put an eye shadow pallett and other things in one of their bags and carried it around the store.  I kept hearing a beeping noise that followed me.  It sounded like a smoke detector thing and making me nuts.  I was thinking why doesn't someone turn that thing off.  Then one of the clerks came up to me and took the eye shadow out of the bag.  She said that when they get jostled they activate the built in security.  I knew I wasn't stealing so that never entered my mind.

@SoX  DH and I have Shady PInes t-shirts.  DS purchased them a few years ago.  This is close to the ones we have.  DH wore his to the specialist Dr and the nurse couldn't stop laughing.

I tried to tell DH that I was just joking about my cart but he didn't buy it.  LOL
