Looking closely, you can see white prints on the deck (limestone rock dust).

Okay, Kachina624, I am now becoming seriously nervous.  LOL

 

On another thread, we had a similar thought.  As you did here, you wrote yours first.  This time, I looked at the darling third photo (first of one by itself) of that sweet deer and, for some reason, thought of Santa's reindeer.  I thought I'd be clever and write to MamaWick that she might wonder what is going on if eight of her precious deer go missing on Christmas Eve.

 

...and then -- and then -- I read your comment.  My goodness, am I going to have a third thought similar to yours today?  It could happen.
