We took Barb to the dam and saw this fella. His owner says he is a timber wolf, but I'm not so sure. He was very tame (okay possible since owner says he's had him since a baby) but is 150 pounds. I did some Googling and it doesn't appear they get anywhere near this weight. Oh well, he was so pretty.

The deer are so delicate and lovely to behold

That pooch is a handsome fella. And wow, what a big dog or wolf or whatever. He is strikingly handsome, seems so friendly. Of course, senses the Wicks’ love for living creatures. Glad he also knows he is not a lap dog.

@MamaWick Great pics of you all and I love the dog. I've pretty much always had big dogs though not quite that big lol. He's a beauty. It looks like you all are having a nice visit. Barb's a natural with the animals. Are the pretty deer on your property or near the dam? It looks like a pretty day there.

This is a white Timber Wolf. Looks very similar.

I just love your attitude towards the animals. I am a kindred folk to your love of animals. But, I am wondering if the dog/wolf is a mix of wolf and German Shepard. That's what he looks like. I would have grabbed that animal and hugged him so hard. And I wish I lived next door to you so I could enjoy those deer. God bless.
