@MamaWick The picture with the deer standing is interesting, are they having a dispute?  Looks like two females and the other deer has her ears back.

Oh my goodness!  Someone isn't happy and a spat is going on.  Hope they worked things out with just displaying.   And the vulture is so neat to see.  We see them a bit out here in the country.

Looks like a few moments of peace and tranquillity while munching the carrots.

I also hope that things didn't get out of hand - the poor deer looks terrified seeing the other standing so tall.

Great picture of the vulture.

Willow decided to sleep (well at least pretend to) and escape the drama. Good girl.

I hope there is peace at the Wick's between the forest friends and they settle their issues!!!!   Play nice !!!!!!  The photo of the vulture is impressive.  Nature is amazing!

@MamaWick   That poor deer looks like she's giving you the eye to help her and remove the bully.

I don't know why they have to posture when you provide more than adequate treats, food, and water.  I guess it's Mother Nature's way.

We have a family of 4 turkey vultures that visit us.  They eat the cat food that we put out for the 4 ferals that we have.

Originally there was only a male and female turkey vulture, but then they had babies and the whole family has moved in.

Woofs and hugs to adorable Miss Willow White all tuckered out from her birthday celebrations no doubt.  🥰. Some days I just want to curl up into a ball and go to sleep.

Woofs and love to sweet Cricket in heaven 💕🌈

Re: DEER Wednesday 11/20/2024

When vultures appear & stick around, does that mean there's non-veggie food for them where they're hanging around?  I hope that vulture isnt hanging around there looking for some flesh lunch.
