Outside our bedroom
Then a bit later, went outside and this is what I saw
Some good news, Cricket ate this evening. She goes 2-3 days without eating much at all. This is killing us. It's not the heat since she only goes out to do her business.

Next thing you know the little lady will be pulling up a chair!
Glad dear Cricket felt like eating today. It warms the heart when they have a good day.

That is quite a group relaxing on the lawn!! Were they waiting for their dinner or just hanging out !! Some days you have a crowd, some just a few, whatever number of deer you have it is always a peaceful scene.
Happy to hear Cricket ate. I understand it is difficult for you but stay strong.

I lovea all the pics! From Part 1 and Part 2! In Part 1, can those pics of the fawn and her mom get any cuter! And in Part 2, they are relaxing and feeling safe!
I am glad Cricket ate more! I wish only the best for the precious baby! I know it's got to be very difficult for you and your husband. I know the feeling! Give her lots of hugs from me!

Thanks for the deer pictures. They are a treasure.
I can appreciate how difficult it must be taking care of darling Cricket during this time. I am sure you are leaning on your vet for advice. My very best wishes to you.

They wanted their treats @MamaWick . The deer.
Now to Cricket:
Do you think eating makes her stomach hurt or could it be some other internal discomfort? Other than not eating does she act like she did before she started not eating? Has anything else changed?

Have you tried feeding Cricket with a mini-turkey baster. I had done that with one of my old small dogs.
I blended chicken broth, rice, chicken, and vegetables appropriate for dogs into a consistency similar to baby food that would work in a baster. Thinned baby food works well, too. I added some supplements. She ate quite well for me. Since it was thinner than dog food, I fed her 3 times a day.
The vet prescribed a small amount of Mylanta to help with nausea.
Of course, it depends on how much you want to do.

@KatieB and @Foxxee Cricket is definitely not behaving like she used to. We have tried so many different foods/preparations. She is on an anti-nausea med and an appetite stimulant which worked very well at first, then she went back to the not eating much. She will eat a little bit of sliced turkey breast from the deli, but not much. She likes braunschweiger but that is so full of iron that it isn't believed her frail 7 pound body can handle a lot of it.
EDIT: She does not seem to be in pain, and if she was, we would not let her suffer.
