In my Facebook memories was a deer picture from last year.  Our yard was so lush and green then.  This drought is wreaking havoc.  We can only water 1x every other week, for only 3 hours.

@MamaWick

Thanks again for the photos.  Here in the rust belt states, we had rain in the Spring, then a little less in June.  July has been dry though and we are seeing a lot of brown now too.  Leaves on the trees are just turning brown, getting crispy and falling off the trees.  The grass is starting to get brown.  We only water a few flowers and a small vegetable garden because we have a well.  We have to be cautious so we don't end up dry.

Such lovely scenes of   the moms and Bambis, sweet and gentle creatures quietly visiting the Wick Haven,  content at their favorite diner!!!!!  These photos of nature's gifts portray the kindness and goodness of their surroundings, delightful scenes which warm the heart!

My heart goes out to you and all of those affected by this draining drought.

The lack of rain affects humans and all other living creatures.

"Your" deer still visit happily, a place they are welcomed and treated so kindly.

Willow is such a sweet, gentle and loving spirit.

Praying for rain for all who need it.

@MamaWick   The deer are happy as they have the safety, love, and nutrition at Casa Wick!  🍌🥕🦌🍎♥️

Here on the east coast we haven't had rain since early June.  Lawns are brown, even with sprinkler systems going off.  The land is so dry that whatever is watered drinks it up immediately.

We refilled the upper and lower bird baths twice a day.  All the visiting wildlife are appreciative and share.  I would love a good strong thunderstorm.  Just the kind to help me sleep.

Woofs and hugs to Miss Willow White.  Always so photogenic. 🥰

Oh Willow you look so innocent..

The pictures are wonderful... The babies are so beautiful.. isn't it amazing how they lose their spots.

Could you tell me when they lose their spots?

Thank you so much... some days my depression is terrible, you do so much for me..

Love and blessings..

@MamaWick   So many changes in our country that are impacting our lives in very personal ways.  How beautiful that in spite of the brown lawn and lack of water, you are continuing to provide a safe haven for the deer.  You truly live, "My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness".
