Rocky BalBobo (first 2 pictures) has some weird antler stuff going on. Of course, he has his broken right antler, but his left antler is going wild with odd shaped points and nodules.

I'm so glad you are keeping a close eye on Rocky MamaWick. The poor boy, I wonder why this is happening?

The good news is that nothing appears to be growing toward his eyes.

@MamaWick   As always, stunning pictures! And Willow is so lucky to enjoy all this nature without having a care in the world! That would be my wish for all creatures big and small.

Rocky... Are those little black dots all over his body ticks? I can't make them out on my computer, but I noticed not all the deer have as many as he does all over his face and body. I worry he can't get them off like other deer seem to do. I know you said you have to catch the deer before your wildlife will help them, but when you notice him/any other deer needing help at your place, would they come out? He seems to enjoy all you have to offer but I wonder if a simple vet check would be all he needs to help the guy out?

Again, what a pleasure seeing your postings when I get on here. The world needs more people like you to care for our wildlife Heart

@MamaWick   Great pictures as always.   Perhaps Rocky is growing his own "Fascinator" in support of the ladies across the pond.  Interestingly, I did a quick search as to the unusual antler development.   There appear to be a few causes. However, Rocky looks otherwise healthy and happy.  He also looks quite proud.

Thank you for all you do for the wildlife.

Woofs and hugs to adorable Miss Willow White.  🥰. Oh how I would love to have a mid afternoon nap, but alas I must get going.  Glad to see your picture!

I hope Rocky is ok, bless his heart.  Hopefully, he didn't break his antler fighting, poor thing!
