They were wet and feisty today.  Still no babies in my pack.

@MamaWick

Adorable photos today, esp. #1 & the last one!  I'm sure they welcomed the rain for cooling off & freshen up the grass.

The deer standing having a quarrel is amazing. You can see the anger and tension between them. I hope they settled their issue without any harm done!!!!  As gentle as the deer look they experience these tense moments like all animals do.

Peek-a-boo little Cricket!

When the deer  rise up like that it looks like something out of a cartoon. A little creepy.

And is that Tracy in the first picture?

I forget if its her left leg and Betty Lou's is the right?

Anyway, she is so comfortable and happy to see you.

In the deer quarrel argument, the mouth of the deer on the left looks like he is saying "MINE."

Peek-a-Boo Cricket, I see  you! The deer pics are amazing. I can't believe how straight that deer has its legs. Hope it was only a small tiff. Thank You!

@MamaWick    Tell hubby the grass really looks nice.  I really admire it, living in the land of gravel lawns.

Everybody online is posting pictures of fawns.  If we don't get some babies soon, we're going to start talking bad about "Mr. Big Antlers".

Re: DEER Wednesday 05/19/2021

@on the bay  both Tracy and Betty Lou's bad legs are the right front.  Yes, that is Tracy in first picture.  Tracy has multiple knots on the lower part of leg.  Betty Lou has a larger knot on the upper part of the leg.

@Kachina624  our front yard is xeriscaped with all white rock.  The only reason we have grass in the back is because of the septic which requires it.  Our St Augustine grass is really green for about 8 months of the year and is brown/dormant the other months.

OMG!  That was my carrot!!  Or somebody rubbed against the other one the wrong way.  Round One.  I would like to see the deer moving around in that upward position.
