Re: DEER Wednesday 04/06/2022

Willow is so cute she makes me laugh especially with her ears sticking straight up!

I wonder if their antlers hurt like when a molar grows in. They look so happy eating their carrots and apples.

I found out my possum does not like vegetables! Only fruit. Very picky she is.

Through your photos, MamaWick, I am able to see the changes the bucks go through.  It is amazing to see the antlers begin to grow back, become huge and then shed.  I have learned about deer from your daily post and it is quite a study in nature.  I am happy to see these gentle creatures, through the seasons.  It is a refreshing break from certain news and what goes on around me and I thank you.

Willow White, what an adorable face.  I just love her colors too especially the light brown on her face.  Watching Willow grow through pictures is a delight!!!!

Oh my goodness,  I didn't realize antlers started growing back so soon.  Definitely antler buds there.  And Willow is displaying her oh  so alert ears.  Adorable @MamaWick

Miss Willow says, 'Hello antler buds, where are Mine?'

She has both ears up now I see.  @MamaWick how much does she weigh?  Sorry to keep asking, but it is the only way I can judge size is to compare to:

Our Lab - 95 lb

       Pugle 22 lb

@MamaWick  I still want to call Willow Cricket sometimes instead of Willow. I did that with dogs I lost, called them the prior dog's name. It's funny, my grandma had dogs that she named the same thing after she got another one lol. She only did it to a couple of dogs.

The deer are looking handsome. I wish I could walk outside and see some. Willow's so cute and fun to look at. Thanks for sharing your pics.
