Wow!   Ice like that strikes terror into me since I live out in the country.   It's pretty, but usually means we will have no power or internet.   Hope all stays on for you @MamaWick .   So beautiful to see though and thanks for posting.

MamaWick, I am saying a prayer that you won't lose electricity...

I live in New England and loss of power during the winter is a constant fear. I love the snow but have a healthy respect for ice, so sleek and so dangerous.

The sweet buck must have really been hungry to come out but then some have no fear.

Even dear Willow looks alarmed.

Ice storms can be so beautiful but scary too.

I hope, MamaWick, there isn't any lose of electricity.  Despite the beauty of these ice storms, they are frightening and worrisome.

I do have to say the photos of the lone visitor in the ice covered wild tall grass are so impressive and belong in a nature book as I have said about so many of your photos.  Outstanding and lovely!

I hope sweetheart Willow White calms down and relaxes.  Even she is tense!  Time to find that red blanket and go off to dreamland!
