See you in a couple of weeks! I'll still be reading and perhaps posting on other threads while we are on vacation...just no deer pictures.

@MamaWick With the awful heat around now, do the deer stay close to your home most of the time looking for water and shade or just stop by for a bit and head out?

I am guessing you leave LOTS of water out for them.

These deer are so dear! Graceful. Peaceful.

And I'll bet everybody who meets Willow and/or sees yr pics, wants to be adopted by you! I wish I could sleep as apparently peacefully as Willow, cuddle with a beloved stuffed carrot, & also be that enchantingly curious! And these Dear Deer, so naturally curious about Willow.

You're such a great, talented Photographer, @MamaWick capturing all this endearing beauty! Thank you for sharing your talents & your being with us.

Oh those Bambis, they make me smile and my heart sing!!!!! They are precious, delightful babies and their white spots so lovely!!!!!

Enjoy your vacation and I hope the deer all will find snacks and drink, safety and kindness through others who care as the Wick's !!!!

@Mersha in some of my pictures, you can see 2 large plastic totes...those are the water buckets which are filled twice daily. Our neighbors feed and watershed, too, and they know we will be gone. I am a little worried for them while we are gone.

@MamaWick You need to set up a Trail Camera to catch all the action while you are gone. Have a safe trip.

@MamaWick I am sure the deer will miss you but your neighbor knows you will gone and plans to look after them.

They will be waiting for your return.

MamaWick, these are the prettiest, sweetest pictures yet!

The babies are just beautiful, especially the one too tired to stay awake, lying down in the grass. Willow as lovely as ever.
