Forgive these questions if they are stupid @MamaWick , but I'm just wondering if your little dog is ever out while the deer are on your property? Could the dog run around while the deer are there and, in a sense, play with them? Or do the deer take off when a dog or person gets too close? Or, perhaps, the deer would harm the dog?

Sorry, this city girl just got curious. At any rate, I enjoy seeing these pictures and am envious of your view!

@Citrine1 Willow is never out without a lead or being in her 2-room "efficiency apartment." She could bolt after the deer and chase them into the woods. She does play with them when she's in her apartment. They come right up to the fencing. The deer don't run off from me. In fact, many of them take food from my hand, and I am able to pet them. Starbuck will follow me around the yard.
