In the 2nd picture that Buck is ready for a carrot or two. I feel so sorry for the Doe with all her wound marks but they are in the wild so I am sure there are many different encounters with predators. Thanks for the pictures. Where's Cricket -- I hope you are feeling good little one.

Cricket ate dinner last night and half of breakfast this morning. Dinner will be coming up soon. She still sleeps more than usual, but is so much better than last week.

First and foremost, I am happy to hear that Cricket is eating and has improved since last week! That puts a smile on my face!

The pictures always enjoyable, the bucks looking grand and the does so pretty,, all enjoying their dinner and feeling safe in their environment. It is a pleasant quiet time which is always welcome!!!!

Regarding the next full moon: The next full Moon will occur on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:37 PM ET, and is known as the Buck Moon, reflecting the time of year when new antlers begin to grow on the heads of bucks.

I think the bucks at @MamaWick's house started growing earlier!

@riley1. Perhaps this is when they start to rub the velvet off, although I don't think the antlers are done growing.

Every time I see the pictures of the buck(s), they are just so beautiful and regal! They steal my heart with their look. And their beautiful antlers too!!
