Nature has presented all of us with a beautiful precious fawn, so sweet so exciting!!!!!!  It is a wonderful addition to all the forest friends who gather at Mama Wick's to eat, drink and feel loved and safe!  

The gifts of nature which we love to see in the photos will give additional smiles, a tranquil feeling and good spirits.  How uplifting and delightful our new addition!

Welcome to the world little fawn.  Casa Wick is a safe and wonderful place to visit and grow. I hope we get to see these wee ones reach adulthood and bring their offspring. 

This new one is just a little bit bigger than Cricket.

@MamaWick    Mother and baby standing side by side is so precious.  I look forward to these pictures everyday.  Thank you for sharing.  I don't know how you keep up with the names and knowing who is who.

@Katcat1  Not every deer gets a name...actually only a handful who have markings, scars, or bumps I can identify.  Once Mija loses her spots and no longer hangs with Mommy, I most likely won't recognize her.

@MamaWick   I am learning more and more about deer with your help.  I had no idea they lose their spots.  I recently read that deer have a life span of only 10 years.  That is not very long.
