They really aren't talking. Yep, they are chewing. The only time I hear noise from them is when the fawns are calling for mama. The bucks do call for the does during rut, but the calls are pretty inaudible

I know you said they aren't actually talking but your beautiful pictures can't help but remind me so much of Harry Nilsson's "Everybody's talking At Me". So, so sweet.

Love that you captured Willow's transition from awake to nodding off. I love watching my little girl fight to keep her eyes open even though she's exhausted and then succumbing and closing her eyes.
