Besties are still here and we've been gone most of the day. Took them to Wimberley. Tomorrow, taking them to Fredericksburg. Sorry these are late.

There used to be a restaurant/bakery on Main St. In Fredericksburg that had the best donuts I've ever eaten. They were the size of salad plates. Sweet memories.

The bakery closed....it was a sad day when they did
They did have the best baked goods...I liked what they called a "butterfly" pastry.

Fredericksburg is my favorite place in Texas. Love the unique and charming shops. Enjoy your excursion. I haven't been to Wimberly in a long time. They had some interesting shops.

I don't quite remember what happened whether the parent retired or passed away but the kids didn't want to run the store. There's now an Amish furniture store there now where the bakery used to be.

The forest friends have spread the word that the Wick's are back and dinner is waiting! It is a welcome mat for the deer as they follow the trail to carrots and water !

It's nice the Wick's are spending time with their best friends, that is one of my favorite things to do also. Hope Missy and Cricket are having some bonding time . Life is good!
