DEER Sunday 04/10/2022

[ Edited ]

Wow! Yesterday's festivities at The King William Fair wore me out. I hit the sheets a little after 8 last night and got up at 9 this morning.

MamaWick, that's a good kind of exhaustion!  You must have had a good time.

Is that an iguana?  Ech!

The deer are lovely, and Willow remains her sweetly charming self.

Hope all was fun yesterday.  Love the close up of the doe taking her carrot.  What kind of lizard is that @MamaWick ?  Very interesting as we only see the electric blue tailed skinks around here.  Occasionally see others up near the pasture, but your guy is very interesting.  And Miss Willow looks adorable.

@MamaWick,

I want that sweet deer!

I'll take the lizard too!

When one of my daughters lived in FL they had so many lizards right in their back which was on a canal or whatever you call them. One was so big she named it the grandaddy lizard.

I had just been thinking that no matter how the day is going or what's going on, good or bad, I always am looking forward to seeing your posts and then when I do it's kind of like a sigh of peace and comfort and happiness!

We had a big day yesterday too romping around an Easter Egg hunt with the grandkids. I'm glad you got a lot of sleep.

I watched my sweet possum munch on some frozen blueberries last night. She munches really loud. I love hearing her. I never get too close. She wouldn't like that and I know though they rarely carry rabies they can carry other diseases not good for humans. Still I wish I could just pick her up and hug her!

Thanks as always for these great pictures!

I love to see @MamaWick  feed the deer.  The deer put a lot of trust in her.  Up close you see their beautiful features.  What is that ugly lizard or whatever it is doing?  Yuck.  Willow what are you thinking?  You seem so deep in thought.  Relax, pretty girl.

Beautiful closeups of the deer, so gentle and enjoying the carrots, acts of kindness always welcome and The Wick Haven provides.  It is a good feeling to see animals being cared for, having trust for humans and visiting without fear.  It's a calm environment for the woodland friends and for me as I see the photos!

Interesting seeing the lizard as I do not see them in my area of the country.  Nature gives us so many gifts, all different animals, sea life, reptiles, all species of birds, for me it's all good!!!

Regal Willow White,  I think her red bed gives her that royal look!!!!  Everything is fine!
