@KatieB    He has probably been in some fights but they often get those scars jumping over and running into barbed wire fences.

Looking for the carrots.  Seems to be a small crowd for a Saturday.  I love when you get pictures of the deer with their mouths slightly open as if they are trying to talk to you.  So cute.

The deer in the second picture does look a bit scraped up, but none the worse for wear.  I love his expression.  Wouldn’t be something if he could talk?

Is the first buck the fellow from last week losing his velvet?

HI H.B.! He's still in his velvet I see.  I'm cheering for him this year. He looks like he's been through the wars allready.  Notched ear, scars, missing a prong on his left antler. 

The ladies love a tough guy H.B.  Hang in there!

Always great photos!  My favorites are those with the deer in the wild grass as I have stated numerous times.  It is a peaceful trip through nature when the deer gather at the Wick's.  They have their food and drink and nothing to fear, it is a place for them to be comfortable.  The kindness of the Wick's gives the woodland friends that time and whatever may happen in the wild, the deer always have a haven to visit. It's all good.
