DEER Monday 11/30/2020

[ Edited ]

With our patio deck, we also put white limestone rock around the perimeter of our yard.  Needed to come up with a new way of feeding the nutrition pellets.  So bought inexpensive plastic pot holders, and here it is.  As they are flimsy, will be changing them to more rigid plastic.

Your deer appear to be so comfortable as they drop by for a bite to eat.

It has got to be such fun to see them each day.

@MamaWick -

Aw their dinner plates are arranged so nicelySmiley Happy I love that second to last picture. That deer has the sweetest face and eyes.

Awww my dear deer friends...I bet they really appreciate the food now since the weather has gotten colder and fueling up helps them to stay warm....

I love that the does and young bucks share, but if a big buck comes, he runs them off.  Generally though, they come right back to the plate furthest from him.

Looks like a buffet for the best pals ever!

I used to feed a feral cat colony of about 13-17 cats.

The plate sized round plastic carry out / delivery containers from local places we ordered from were great for placing several food areas (I used the lids for food)  the large bottom parts I filled with water and also chicken broth - it was a great way to reuse those and a fab way to keep all the kitties with plenty to eat and drink.

Maybe you have some stuff lying around you'd prefer to try for feeding stations.

Though I think what you've provided does a great job!

Love this - and forever adore the HUMANE WICKS!
