Poor baby Rocky BalBobo also has a swollen jaw. But none of this seems to faze him.

Yes, very concerned about that right antler growing so close to his eye.

Poor Rocky Balbobo! I wonder what happened.  He may have an infection in his jaw. 🤕🤒 🦌🦌

It appers he broke his antler?  He may also have an abcess.  Poor baby!  Wildlife may be able to help him.

@MamaWick   My heart aches for Rocky, but I am happy that he is enjoying his treats.   I hope he does well and can fight whatever infection is causing his swollen jaw.  It does seem that the damaged antler isn't blocking his vision.

Woofs and hugs to Miss Willow White. Roo look like she's giving Willow some motherly love. 🥰

Woofs and love to sweet Cricket in heaven 💕🌈.

I hope Rocky BalBobo's wounds heal, it is sad to see him hurting.  However, he does visit the Wick Haven and has an appetite which is a good sign.  Animals in the wild all face harm but many get through it and thrive.  Hopefully Rocky will also.

I know Willow and Roo always bond when together and enjoy each other's company!!!  What a sweet photo!!!!

This is the eye we think he's blind in.  My neighbor and I have been thinking this since last year.  We don't know how he injured his antler...probably in a fight.  The antler velvet has stopped bleeding so I'm hoping the blood supply has stopped and the antler doesn't grow.  The wildlife people won't come out.  We've tried before for other deer.  If we could catch him, they'd come, but won't come and sit, waiting for him to show up.

@MamaWick    Thanks for the update and explanation.  You can only do what you can do.  Maybe when it's time to shed he'll grow healthy ones next year.

Thanks again for all you do for the wildlife.   💕
