AW! No fighting!

And are they the ladies? I wonder why they are fighting so much.

Different tribes protecting their territory or jealousy over their  chosen mate?

What do you think @MamaWick.

Willow looks like she's staying in her little house of her own!

One is a trouble maker and she needs to leave the post pregnant Doe alone.  This is very rare to see this but it upsets me because the one Doe gave birth recently.  Willow -- Peek-a-Boo.

Great pictures @MamaWick

Oh my, these two seem in a bit of a mood this morning. I'm taller than you are. All the treats are mine. Hey, watch the face.

Looks like one of the does is nursing. Mom hormones? Baby nearby? Willow is just happy to be relaxing. She's no fighter. Great pics.

It looks like the calm feeling I always have looking at MamaWick's photos is a bit different today!!!!!!  Seeing the aggression  of the deer standing on their hind legs is a part of animal life that is reality but I don't want to see any deer harmed.  It is part of their lives though gentle they may be and these photos have captured that part . I hope they settle their differences, shake paws and are friends again!!!!!!!  Fascinating photos.

Miss Willow White has the best idea, she just wants to sleep!!!!!  So sweet is she, always comfortable and content to be so.

HEY!  KNOCK IT OFF, YA BIG BULLY!  I don't care WHAT she called you!

Maybe he's jealous of the new baby?

Little Willow looks like she's wondering "WHAT is going ON out there?!"

@MamaWick   Fantastic action shots, but although I know it's Mother Nature at work, I don't like to see any fighting, territorial or not.

MamaWick, do you yell or bang pots at them to stop? Send PapaWick after them.   I'm sure that there are plenty of food and treats for them.

Woofs and hugs to Miss Willow White.  Smart girl, staying inside away from the ruckus. We want you and all the Wicks safe, you cutie pie 🥰

Woofs and love to sweet Cricket in heaven. 💕🌈

Anxious to read @MamaWick 's assessment of what may have been going on. Can't tell if one of the combatant's is a male. Looks like small antler nub coming through? Not sure. This would change things some. Male, female drama.

Mama may have seen him/her coming too close to where the baby is hiding. Or, with her nursing, she requires more food to carry her thorough, which may be causing conflict? Or, maybe  just a male bully, sensing her smell, her mom vibe? Curious to know what those who observe such behaviors so closely think.

Clearly, I'm becoming more fascinated by their behaviors. Humor me :-).

They fight over the food, especially nursing mamas.  It is nature, so I'm going to post even the ones some don't like.

I can usually stop this by throwing carrots in different directions, but today they were in  mood.
