It looks like a nice gathering of the deer coming together for food and bonding!  The Wick Haven is filled with nature, smiles, and tranquility.  It is another kind day for all!!!

Miss Willow is ready for her snooze, always looking warm and cozy and of course so cute!!!!

Aww   "Wee Widdle Willow"  How is it you are continuously so huggable! 

And looks like a "Dear Deer" party at the Mama/Papa Wick homestead.

I have a question.  Do deer shed? or have a shedding season, like the males have an antler season?

  Cause I see rough, stirred up fur patches on some of the female deer - on their backs & sides?

  Is this disturbed fur something like shedding, or as a result of fending off wannabe predators?

    I'm not familiar with what would be other animal deer predators, (except human hunters, of course).
