@MamaWick ...Those deer are part of the family for life.  I am amazed how tame they are, and eating right from your hand is a lovely sight to behold.  I am also very surprised at how large their antlers are, they're huge.

How precious! In the first pic it looks like Smiley is pulling up to a drive thru window saying I'll have an order or carrots please! They certainly do love your sister in law. Great pics. Thanks for the smiles @MamaWick.

OMG!  LOL!  So he came right up to the door?  Guess he was trying to tell you to get busy and get him some food!  That is so hilarious and so cute!!

I see you SIL is having fun with feeding and they love her too and trust her!  How wonderful is this!!  

I'm sure SIL is having a great time!  Enjoy the visit with her!

So glad your SIL got to be with y’all, I think this was a very special moment for her, and for Smiley.  I believe she will hold it closely with her.  The love of animals does seem to run deeply through some families doesn’t it?

Oh how I wish I could be there to feed, pet, and speak with the deer.  Your SIL, Barb, probably wants either to stay for a long visit or perhaps move next door.  The buck is certainly taken with her. 

Does she read the boards her and see your fantastic photography?  Does she know of the Wick fan club/deer and Cricket groupies?

Woofs to sweet Cricket in heaven.  I'll bet you are smiling too. 💕

Sweet & handsome Mr. Smiley sure knows how to get your attention.  Next thing you know, he'll ring your doorbell or knock.  He looks to be such a gentle soul, even letting your SIL feed & pet him.  I'm loving all these photos.
